Our handcrafted Rattan Storage Baskets come in a lovely greyish tint, and are available in three excellent sizes with a whole host of practical applications. The large size is tall so is perfect for magazines, papers or kindling, whilst the small size makes a great remote control basket or hall table basket for keys and bits and bobs. All sizes have useful integrated cut-out handles making these baskets ideal to put into units or onto shelves.
Please note: If you are planning to build a unit to house these baskets, we strongly recommend that you purchase the baskets first as they are handmade and sizes may vary slightly.

Rattan is a naturally renewable palm that grows in diverse forests across Asia. Incredibly, rattan grows over two centimetres per day, making it a completely sustainable product that is environmentally friendly. Rattan helps to sustain numerous other plants and landscapes and is the quickest developing tropical wood, renewing in just 5-7 years.

Bamboo, rattan and seagrass are natural fibres. They are very strong and last a long time, but when you finally need to throw it out, it degrades into a nice, safe dirt. Sun and soil microorganisms render it without any side effects.
